I need to restore my 2005 Dodge Neon front-wheel drive compact car back to working order but I am not sure how to remove and rebuild some of the broken parts. Where on the Internet can I download a free Dodge Neon repair book? The timing belt on my 4 door sedan broke and I need a book of repair instructions that shows me how to remove the cylinder head so that I can bring it to a machine shop and have the head rebuilt. Please post a link to a free manual that is in .pdf format. Thank you!
Yes a factory service manual (FSM), often termed factory repair manual, is available for instant download, refer to download link underneath image. The link to one of the manuals pertains to the 2004 Dodge Neon but it is applicable to 2005 models too since there are no mechanical differences between both years.

From my understanding the manual might also apply to 2003 neon models. The manual covers every aspect of maintenance, service, overhaul and repair for the entire vehicle. The repair book also contains troubleshooting guides. It is specific to Neon automobiles with the 2.0 L 4-cylinder 16V SOHC gasoline engines, 2.0 liter 4-cylinder 16 valve high performance engine and the 2.4L four-cylinder 16V DOHC high output turbo motor that is in 2004 thru 2005 SRT-4 models.
The downloadable manual has clickable chapters and sub-sections to make finding information fast. You can even print a specific group of pages or individual pages from the digital booklet. The manual contains enough repair information for anyone to properly remove the cylinder head, disassemble it and resemble it. That said, one of the manuals gets a bit technical so I included a link to another repair manual that describes the repair job in layman terms. So if you’re not a professional mechanic, I’d consider getting both repair books. Good luck!
Thanks for the Dodge Neon repair manual. I just had the same problem where the timing belt broke prematurely and left me stuck on the side of the road. I towed the car home and removed the timing belt cover and it was broken. Turns out valves in 3 cylinders were bent but no other damage to the cylinder head existed. The machine shop rebuilt the head and I was going to use the manual to re-install the timing belt but I am not sure how to set TDC after broken timing belt. The manual details how to ensure #1 cylinder compression is TDC but I’ll trust an expert to do the repair job instead.
